Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) – Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies but shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly (usually within 1-5 sessions). Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, sexual abuse, and many other mental and physical conditions can experience remarkable benefits starting in the first session. ART is not hypnosis.

Buddy Scott Ministries – An online answer to prayer for parents, grandparents, guardians, foster parents, ministers, teachers, or counselors to more effectively help the teens they care about. Buddy wrote the book Relief for Hurting ParentsHow to Fight for the Lives of Teenagers. He offers a leader’s guide and teacher’s resource volume. He was the executive director of a counseling clinic for 20 years and the parent of a defiant teen.

Cathy Taughinbaugh Cathy helps parents just like you who are concerned about their child to find resources that you can use at home to help your child move towards recovery while maintaining a close relationship. Her mission is to give you the clarity, courage, and tools you need to stop all the chaos and start helping your child find recovery.

Celebrate Recovery – support for individuals and their loved ones who struggle with hurts, habits, and hang-ups; founded by Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church, California. Hosted by local churches with locations nationwide. No online meetings, face-to-face only. Gender-specific groups. The Bible is the source of their curriculum.

Desert Stream Ministries – Founder: Andy Comiskey – 3 programs for Sexual issues: Living Waters is an in-depth, Christ-centered program for people seeking healing in areas of sexual and relational brokenness. A healing, teaching, and discipleship series, Living Waters addresses the reality that we’re all broken in our ability to love others well. Their goal is to lay a foundation for sexual and relational wholeness. With groups all over the world and over 20 years of ministering God’s healing love, this program is a proven path of healing. They’re particularly relevant to those struggling with homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, the effects of sexual abuse, codependency, self-hatred, or the inability to love others well. Thankfully, Christ’s capacity to touch and restore us at deep levels of shame and brokenness extends to all of us, regardless of the specifics of our issue.

Dual Diagnosis Drug Rehab Near Me – Dual Diagnosis treatment is required with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. They have pulled all their treatment center data from the Government Database Samhsa.gov and they don’t feature one rehab over another. Fresh Hope –  A Christian association of peer-to-peer lead support groups across the United States for those who have a mental health diagnosis and for their loved ones. They offer a curriculum to help others start support groups offering real hope and real help. Endorsed by Rick Warren and Saddleback Church.

If you are the mom or dad, guardian, or grandparent of a child who’s been exposed to pornography, and are in need of support and encouragement, this is the site for you. This is a safe place to have difficult conversations about a difficult topic. The site has resources and a blog.  The founder’s hope is that her site helps you realize you are not alone.
 

Hope for a Broken World – A Christian ministry offering specialty greeting cards expressing God’s message of hope, encouragement, and redemption. They offer two lines of cards: Broken Lives and Broken Hearts. Broken Lives reassure those who have made bad choices that the Lord loves them and wants to restore them. Broken Hearts offer words of comfort, encouragement, and hope to those who have suffered broken dreams and hearts as a result of loved ones’ bad choices.

Hope for the Heart – Bringing hope and seeing changed lives for over 30 years through radio broadcasts, biblical counseling, free downloads, and other materials.

Hurting Moms, Mending Hearts – A faith-based community of moms designed to be a safe place where moms can come together online, or in support groups, to share with one another while they work through a process that will bring them freedom and healing from their pain. They also provide materials to help moms start groups.

In The Rooms – The World’s Largest, online social network for the Global Recovery Community. In The Rooms is for people already in recovery, seeking immediate help from any addiction, and their family, friends, and allies. They offer AA, NA, plus other 12 Step and non 12 Step Support Groups; geo-locatable global meeting finder, daily E Meditations, afternoon affirmations, free iPhone and Android apps, speaker tape library, and much more. Available 24 /7/365.

Lighthouse Network – Free Addiction and Counseling Helpline   877-562-2565  A faith-based organization that offers free, confidential assistance 24 hours per day by caring staff that is well-trained to help the caller locate the most appropriate care for their personal situation and ways to pay for it. They provide guidance to find the right treatment program: addictions, eating disorders, depression/stress/emotions, or relationships.

Living Hope Ministries – A non-profit, non-denominational, 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to proclaim God’s truth for those who seek sexual and relational wholeness through a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. They provide free in-person support groups, one-on-one pastoral counseling and mentoring, online support forums, in addition to education and training for the local church and community in the U.S. and worldwide.

Loved Ones of Prisoners – LOOP is a non-profit organization that provides support to families with loved ones in prison.  We provide support to our LOOP families that have loved ones in prison by helping them feel less isolated. We offer 24/7 phone support to the family of the incarcerated. Mercy Multiplied – Providing hope and healing to desperate young women who are seeking freedom from life-controlling issues such as Physical & Sexual Abuse – including Sex Trafficking, Eating Disorders, Self-Injury, Drug & Alcohol Addictions, Depression, and Unplanned Pregnancy.

Moms in Prayer International – Moms impact children and schools worldwide as they gather together to pray. Groups exist for every age and category: elementary, middle and high school, college and career, military, moms of prodigals, disabled, etc. Their website offers tools to help you pray, plus help connecting with a group or starting one.

Nar-Anon   Local (and online) support groups and resources for individuals whose loved ones struggle with a drug problem; applicable for any issue you have no control over.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline  800-274-TALK  (8255) Also offers help in Spanish. The toll-free number for help 24/7 including holidays. This helpline is for the individual who may be considering ending their life as well as for concerned family and friends. Their website includes helpful information (i.e. prevention) and resources, including for veterans, young adults, and those affected by bullying.

New Life Ministries – New Life Ministries offer compassionate and empowering solutions to those who find themselves in life’s difficult places and who are missing what God desires for their lives. Family, friends, and churches want to help but are not always equipped to care for those dealing with problems like addiction, pornography, infidelity, anxiety, anger, fear, depression, and hurts from the past.

Portland Fellowship –  Proclaiming freedom for the captives. Our programs were inspired by men and women who have experienced freedom from homosexual desire and behavior through the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. Since 1980, our ministry has helped hundreds of men and women find a biblical resolution to their homosexuality and has ministered to their families, friends, and church leaders.

Reconnection Club – a positive, growth-focused, friendly community where parents learn how to reconnect with their estranged adult children (and themselves).

RecoverYourLife – One of the biggest and best Self-Harm Support Communities on the Internet. Helping people who suffer from self-injury, they also support other issues like Eating Disorders, Mental Health problems, Abuse, and more. Articles are on the Main Site, Forums, Chat and Live Help – run by their supporters – are key places for support and help, any day at any time, 24/7 all year round.

Spark of Life – FREE weekend retreats for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one (or any significant loss – divorce, health, financial, etc.). Their goal is to instill hope that, though life can never be the same after loss, it can be rich and fulfilling. They offer Grief Recovery Retreats that are given as a gift to all who come. Therapist lead, all costs are covered. All you have to do is get there. These retreats are held at beautiful resorts around the country.

Stay Here – Stay Here is a mental health organization dedicated to giving hope to those battling brokenness, depression, anxiety, self-harm, addiction, and suicide.

Teen Challenge USA  Provide youth, adults, and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling drug and alcohol problems in order to become productive members of society. By applying biblical principles, Teen Challenge endeavors to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. Programs are located all over the country.

The Center for Faith – The Center equips leaders with theologically sound and accessible resources and helps leaders shape the people entrusted to them. To do this, The Center provides resources in the form of adult and student small-group learning experiences, leaders forums, pastoral and academic papers, private theological and pastoral consultation, and other avenues such as blogs, videos, podcasts, speaking, and webinars.

The Envoy Group – Assist and educate families struggling with at-risk teens to locate Residential and Therapeutic Boarding Schools that best meet their needs. Founded by a mom who understands.

The Faith to Flourish – Dawn Ward started a ministry for women whose loved ones struggle with addiction.

The Hope Line – Dawson McAllister network. Helping people navigate difficult life issues; relational, emotional, physical or spiritual through one-on-one chat all over the world, blogs, and online content. Their mission is to seek, reach, rescue, and restore those in need of hope.

The Resilient Caregiver – Voted in the Top 5 out of 100 best adoption blogs, and best adoption podcasts, on earth 5 years in a row from 2016 to 2020 by Healthline.com and Feedspot.
